Our Services

We engage our clients in almost every phase of a development project: development plan, feasibility study, and implementation roadmap where locations play a vital role in determining land use and development zones, the movement of people and traffic, sites of infrastructure, facilities, and amenities, including the likely impacts of the built environment upon the natural environment. Our services include satellite and airborne remote sensing data capture, data processing, analysis, and distribution, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) applications, thematic mapping layers, modeling, data visualization and presentation (including production of digital maps), and decision-making capabilities.

Here is a snap-shot of what we do and the kind of services we offer:

i. RS/GIS for Urban/Rural Development

In some of the work we do, we help our clients identify areas of critical importance during the pre-planning stage of a development project by capturing relevant images and information about a particular geographic location and its attributes including geographic features: for example, land parcel & ownership (cadastral), land use and topography, soil classification, water and energy sources, demographics, and ecologically-sensitive areas, transportation links and network and drainage, representing some of the critical datasets and layers required for urban or rural planning. These information will guide planners and decision-makers in work tasks such as resource planning, project planning and implementation, sustainable development practices, and presentations including visualizations and scenario-building.

ii. RS/GIS for Agriculture

Using remote sensing technology supported by GPS and DGPS, we can generate detailed satellite field map for the purpose of plantation planning, opening of new plantation areas or redesigning existing plantation. We address terracing needs of hilly areas and determine terrace lines and terrace length. We are also involved in a number of agro-based projects (Oil Palm, Rubber, Paddy, Agro-Food Parks etc.) that make use of geospatial data and information to determine soil and crop suitability, land use and classification, land parcel and ownership (cadastral), sources of water bodies, topography, crop yield and maintenance, environmental hazards, weather monitoring, transportation and logistics, and a host of other related geospatial information layers which can impact on the viability and sustainability of the project. The access to such information can help decision makers in planning, devising mitigation measures and adopt best agricultural practices.

iii. RS/GIS for Sustainable Forestry

We undertake large-scale forestry mapping areas of bio-ecological, economical, and socio-cultural value and significance as in (i) Protection Forest for ensuring favourable climatic and physical conditions of the country, for safeguarding of water resources, soil fertility and environmental quality, preservation biological diversity and the minimisation of damage by floods and erosion to rivers and agricultural lands (ii) Production Forest for the supply in perpetuity, at reasonable rates, of all forms of forest produce which can be economically produced for domestic use and export (iii) Amenity Forest for the conservation of adequate forest areas for recreation, ecotourism and public awareness (iv) Research & Education Forest for the conduct of research, education and the conservation of biological diversity.

iv. Other RS/GIS Application Areas

As our customer base grows, so too our involvement in other geospatial applications sectors (automotive, insurance, banking, real estate, transportation, etc) where there is a growing demand for better quality, accurate, and timely geographic information for planning, decision-making, monitoring and a host of other critical work tasks, now readily migrated into web-enabled environment. We are expanding our business to our regional partners and key geospatial technology providers so that we can expand our pool of expertise, state-of-art technologies, products and suppliers to meet the growing and varied information needs of clients.
